    The Alzheimer’s and Museums Initiative

    Dear Care Givers/Partners and Friends,

I am seeking your assistance on a project proposed by ARTZ: Artists for Alzheimer’s™, a 501(c)3 non-profit, which has been submitted to the American Express Members Project. This contest awards funding to innovative programs from around the world. The name of the submitted project is the “Alzheimer’s and Museums Initiative,” which if funded, would develop Alzheimer’s-specific access programs, for both those diagnosed and their care givers/care partners, at museums throughout the United States. ARTZ has prior experience in developing Alzheimer’s programs at such cultural institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in NYC, the National Gallery of Australia and the Louvre in Paris. Right now, the most important aspect of the Members Project contest is for the Alzheimer’s and Museums Initiative to receive nominations. THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN. The more nominations the project receives, the better chance it has of have of being selected. Nominations will only be accepted through August 30th–not much time is left!

Here is how you nominate the Alzheimer’s and Museums Initiative:
    1) Go to: http://www.membersproject.com/project/view/PSRREG
    2) Click on “Nominate this project”
    3) Login as an American Express cardholder or as a guest (takes about one minute)
    4) Then, after you’ve logged in, click “Nominate this Project” again until it says “You have nominated this project”

That’s it! Remember, the voting ends on August 30th

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
