We first noticed Alzheimer’s symptoms in my mom in the mid ‘90s and we saw the progression over the next 10 to 13 years. As usual it was very gradual and we had look for and pay attention to the changes. She passed away 2 years ago and we miss her. Personally I wish I would have asked her more questions about her life, about our relatives, about how she fixed the great pork chops that we had frequently when we were growing up. She did a great job of raising 4 children as a single parent and she left us all with the tools to be successful in life. Another legacy she left us is her beautiful paintings. She took up painting in her late 50’s and over the next 12 years or so she produced many works in oil. I have displayed a few of them on my website: vettranreport.com
