This is my 1st time on this site. My Dad had a stroke in ’91. He is now 79 & has had mild dementia for 3 or 4 years. Ther is very slow progression. We have disagreements in the family as to whether he has true alz. or age-related/stroke induced dementia. Right now the issue that has us puzzled is that 3 times in the last 6 months he has woke up in the night & accuses my mom of stealing his money from his wallet. He is adamant about it & gets very upset those he has never been physically aggressive. One of the times he went to bed & got back up & apologized asking mom to forgive him. Yet the next morning he does not remember anything about. He still is able to drive to town alone without getting lost or anything. If I make him think about things he can recall them with a little effort, ie). S.S. #, …I need some answers from people who have been there, not just Drs. who have read the books. Thanks so much for any help you can give!!!

Whoah Marcus…just a friendly observation/suggestion.
(wait ’til I get my eyes straightened out)Could ya change or eliminate the background color in that blog? I found reading it “very dangerous.” Couldn’t continue…sorry Bud. I tried enlarging it a bunch but then the “vibrating effect” of the color-on-color just got worse.
help!!
