Welcome to our Fundraising page! We look forward to having you at our 5th Annual Fundraising Event.

This year, we are featuring the Fischer Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. Every dollar donated funds lab research that is directed at finding a cure for Alzheimer’s.

Why did we choose to fundraise for Alzheimer’s this year?

While this disease hits close to home, it has also been overlooked for nearly 100 years. The severity of the disease is gravely misunderstood – often written off as memory loss and forgetfulness but in reality, its victims lose their ability to speak, care for themselves and breathe.

Alzheimer’s kills more people than breast and prostate cancer combined. In New York alone, the number of people expected to have Alzheimer’s next year will increase by 12%.

Deaths due to Alzheimer’s and dementia have increased by 16% since the COVID-19 pandemic.

And in 2021 alone, Alzheimer’s will cost the U.S. $355 billion (Elon Musk, we’re looking at you to help!)

In less than 30 years, the cost will near $1.1 trillion.
